Since the demand for such a new technology – readily-available, small, consumer-class vehicles that can be both flown and driven – would be low, manufacturers would be forced to charge lots of money for their creations. These flying-cum-driving machines of the future would be expensive as any other type of state-of-the-art, newly-released technology. People who could afford them would likely rather choose other modes of flying or simply avoid flying altogether.
