Nach einer Beschwerde über Serviceleistung auf einem Langstreckenflug erklärte mir ein Herr mit Schnautzbart von der Lufthansabeschwerdeabteilung wenn Sie unterwürfiges Dienen des Flugbegleitpersonals erwarten können Sie das bei asiatischen Fluggesellschaften bekommen.

Yes, Lufthansa are the only 5-star airline in Europe, but can hardly be described as being “the best”. Besides, superlatives are so, well, subjective.
Qatar Airways do it for me with their (current) affordable fares, great onboard service and some of the top trained pilots in the world.
If I had to choose the worst airline, it would definitely have to be FlyDubai.
There is a high measure of subjectivity in ranking. My experience is that Swiss is the best.. Not only for the in-flight experience and superb professionalism and friendliness of the staff but also for transferring at Zurich Airport. The best airport in Europe and beyond

You are right. That’s why I’ve been flying Bangladesh Air lately. Apart from the unbeatable service and superb food, poor-looking guys are trated as a king. You should try!
